EL PASO, Texas —

Authorities arrested a woman who they said attempted to hide a wanted felon.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Marshal Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force was searching for Reynaldo Jesus Adams, who was wanted for aggravated robbery, obstruction/retaliation and possession of a controlled substance.

They were at a residence on the 10500 block of Palomino Street when they met Kara Ann Jordan, 22. Officials said Jordon refused to cooperate with them, denied that Adams was in the residence and had slammed the front door shut.

Members of the task force apprehended Adams, who was attempting to flee from the back of the residence.

Jordan was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution of a known felon, and was booked into the El Paso Detention Facility with bail set at $2,500.

Adams was booked with bail set at $153,000.
