EL PASO, Texas —

A Fort Bliss military police officer was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a November vehicle fire, fire officials said.

El Paso Fire Department spokesperson George De La Torre said fire marshals arrested 24-year-old Justin Drew Woodard in relation to a vehicle fire that happened at 4648 Vesta Loop in northeast El Paso.

When fire crews arrived, they said they found a gray 2004 Ford F-150 with the driver’s side window broken and the interior set on fire.

No injuries were reported.

Woodard was charged with arson, a second-degree felony, and was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a $50,000 bond.
