Officials: Clint HS teacher resigns after allegations of inappropriate relationship

CLINT, Texas —
Clint Independent School District officials said they are investigating allegations of a Clint High School teacher having an inappropriate relationship with a student.Laura Cade, a spokesperson for the district, told KFOX14 that the unnamed employee resigned and the district reported the incident to the proper authorities. "The safety and security of our students while at school is a priority for Clint Independent School District. The district is cooperating with the authorities as they conduct their investigation. To protect the integrity of the investigation being conducted, the district cannot comment any further at this time," Cade said in a statement. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
