Northeast traffic Stop Ends In Drug Possession Charge

EL PASO, Texas —

A traffic stop in northeast El Paso results with a man arrested for possession of cocaine.

On Thursday, police officers tried conducting a traffic stop when 24-year-old Victor Hugo Fernandez made several traffic violations but refused to stop, police said.

They said Fernandez finally stopped on the 4700 block of Salem. Police said they determined he had a bag with 6 grams of cocaine inside.

He was booked into the El Paso County Jail on bonds totaling $3,000.
