Northeast El Paso Residents Deal With Mess Of Wires

El Paso, TEXAS —

Northeast El Paso resident Lori Bustamante said she's been dealing with a web of wires in her back yard for the past few years, and has complained to utility companies, but to no avail.

"It's not a very nice sight to see here," Bustamante said.

She also said she believes the wires are to blame for frequent phone-service outages.

"Every time it rains I lose my phone, mainly because of this wiring," she said.

After being contacted by KFOX, AT & T released this statement regarding the problem: "We are aware of the outages, and will dispatch a technician to the home. We'll address any concerns she has when they get there."

Meantime, Lori said she feels relieved to know her concerns will finally be addressed.
