NMSU Player Does Not Take Plea Deal

The trial of an NMSU basketball player charged with misdemeanor charges of assault, battery and resisting arrest has been postponed.

Prosecutors expected 21-year-old Jahmar Young to accept a plea deal Friday afternoon, but that didn't happen.

Young is still pleading not guilty, and his trial will be rescheduled to a later date.
