The position requires technical knowledge of ENG cameras and equipment, and an understanding of how to capture the visual/audible elements that are stylistic of news production. In addition, the position requires editing experience, with Avid or comparable (e.g., Media 100) non-linear systems. The candidate must also have general computer skills. The candidate must have knowledge and 1-2 years experience operating and maintaining an ENG Microwave truck and/or vehicle.

The position also requires the individual to possess strong interpersonal skills. Hours tend to be 1pm to 10pm but we need someone who is open to work flexible hours. The individual is responsible for gathering material for our daily newscasts and then assembling the material into an edited product that`s fed back to the main office. This position requires at least an Associate`s degree from an accredited college or university. Professional experience may be substituted for certain educational requirements.
