Newest McDonald's restaurant opens in the Lower Valley

EL PASO, Texas —

Rev up those tastebuds because the 41st El Paso McDonald's restaurant has opened its doors in the Lower Valley.

The new McDonald's, located at 10303 Alameda Ave., is the 23rd McDonald's franchise owned by Richard Castro, the El Paso Times reports.

The restaurant is having a grand opening celebration Wednesday with free candy for children and McDonald's characters Birdie and Grimace on hand to take photos with customers.

Castro is the largest owner of McDonald's franchises in El Paso. McDonald's has 41 locations in El Paso, Castro's company reported.
