DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. —

Results for the New Mexico Primary election are starting to show from Dona Ana County with 41 out of 41 voter convenient centers reported.

For the Democratic primary for State Senate District 36, Mary Jane Garcia has 1353 votes (58 percent) and Oscar Vasquez Butler has 980 votes (42 percent). Republican Lee S. Cotter is running unopposed.

For the Democratic primary for State Senate District 31, Joseph Cervantes has 955 votes (61.4 percent) and former Sunland Park mayor Jesus "Ruben" Segura has 601 votes (38.6 percent). Republican Brett C. Preston is running unopposed.

For the Democratic primary for County Commissioner District 2, David J. Garcia has 535 votes (56.4 percent), Alexander J. Cotoia has 248 votes (26.2 percent) and Alfredo Garza has 165 votes (17.4 percent). Republican Janice Kaye Brooks is running unopposed.

For the Democractic primary for County Commissioner District 4, Wayne D. Hancock has 579 votes (57.2 percent) and David L. Bonner has 434 votes (42.8 percent). Republican Robert S. Jeska is running unopposed.

For the Democractic primary for County Commissioner District 5, Scott Adam Krahling has 772 votes (40.4 percent), Leticia Duarte Benavidez has 812 votes (42.4 percent) and Benjie Luchini has 329 votes (17.2 percent). Republican Kent Evans is running unopposed.
