Meeting scheduled concerning roundabout construction in Chaparral

By Renee Narvaiz

EL PASO, Texas —

People in Chaparral, N.M., will have the chance to voice their concerns about a construction project planned for their area.

As KFOX14 has reported several people are upset over a roundabout being built along Highway 404 and 213.

Those who live near there said the speed limit in that area is too fast for a roundabout and are worried it will cause accidents.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation will update residents on the status of the project at a meeting

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Betty McKnight Multi-Purpose center, 190 County Line Road in Chaparral.
