Man Wanted In Overnight Shooting At Nightclub

EL PASO, Texas —

Police are investigating an overnight shooting at a northeast El Paso night club that left one man in the hospital. The shooter has not been found.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. in the back parking lot of Player's Lounge at 4024 Dyer Street.

The victim was shot in the leg and then drove his car to the Circle K gas station across the street to call for help.

The name of the man who was shot has not been released. He was transported to University Medical Center for his injuries.

A possible description of the shooter involves a black man with two ponytails wearing a green sweater, but police could not confirm nor deny that description.
