EL PASO, Texas —
It happened in the 5600 block of Duchess Street in northeast El Paso.
Police say the suspect, Sergio Marquez, tried to lock himself in a home after the stabbing happened.
The SWAT team had to be called out to get him out.
Officials say he surrendered peacefully.
The 19-year-old victim is expected to make a full recovery.
