Man seriously injured after collision with train in Tornillo

El Paso County Sheriff's deputies said a man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after the car he was in was hit by a train.

Sheriff officials said the crash happened just before 7 p.m. Wednesday evening on the train tracks at Alameda and Oil Mill Road in Tornillo.

Sheriff traffic investigators were at the scene and continued their investigation late Wednesday night.
