A man was shot early Saturday morning when police said he pulled a gun on them.

Police said that at about 4 a.m. Saturday, they responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Mirasol Drive in the lower valley.

During their investigation, they said a man drove up to the home and ran into a parked police car.

Police opened fire at the man, hitting him in the stomach and thigh.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 41-year-old man faces multiple charges, police said.
