A portion of Shadow Mountain Drive near Dew was blocked off for several hours after a man was hit by a car head-on.
The incident was called in just before 5 p.m. Friday.
Paramedics told KFOX that the man suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to Thomason Hospital in critical condition.
Police are still investigating the crash.
