Man with guns, ammo crossing into Mexico arrested
U.S. Customs and Border Protection
EL PASO, Texas —
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers said they seized two loaded handguns at the Paso Del Norte Bridge.
Officials said a Nevada man trying to walk into Mexico was selected for an intensive inspection.
After initially refusing to remove his hands from his pockets, he admitted to officers he was holding a gun, said officers.
CBP officers took down the 37-year-old man and arrested him.
He was carrying two guns and 86 rounds of ammunition.
