Man found with 6 packages of heroin near Lower Valley gas station

EL PASO, Texas —
Police arrested a man carrying six packages of heroin at a gas station in the Lower Valley, police said.
Around 10:11 p.m. Wednesday, police were checking Ramon Mendoza at the side of the Ram Gas Station at 800 Carolina Drive.
Police said they found six individually wrapped packages of heroin on Mendoza. The packages weighed a total of 1.7 grams.
Mendoza, 28, was booked into the El Paso County Jail with bail set at $2,500.
