Man Exonerrated Of Murder Charges

CARLSBAD, N.M. —

A man accused of shooting another man to death in Carlsbad, N.M., was exonnerated Sunday night.

A judge ruled Manuel Baeza will not stand trial on a second-degree murder charge for 40-year-old Jake Buendia.

The judge said the testimony from witnesses was so unreliable that the state could not use it to provide probable cause that Baeza's actions were unlawful.
