EL PASO, Texas —
A man is in critical condition after being stabbed several times early Saturday morning, said investigators with the El Paso Police Department.
It happened just after 2 a.m. at the Alameda Bar.
The investigation by the EPPD's Gang Unit shows three men entered the bar and began assaulting several people inside.
At one point, authorities said the men focused their attack on the 27-year-old victim.
Police say the victim then tried to escape his attackers, but was stabbed several more times while trying to run away.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators said they do have people in custody believed to be involved in the attack.
