Man Arrested Twice For Graffiti

Las Cruces Police have arrested a man twice within four days.

Police first arrested 19-year-old Justin Dirk Tahuahua a week ago, after a witness spotted him spray painting a building.

When officers arrived they found Tahuahua carrying a backpack with several cans of spray paint, and they charged him with one count each of criminal damage to property over $1,000 and criminal trespassing.

His bond was set at $6,000.

Four days later on Dec. 23, police caught Tahuahua tagging another building and charged him with one count of unauthorized graffiti.

Officers then took Tahuahua to the Dona Ana County Detention Center and his bond was set at $2,000.
