EL PASO, Texas —
Sheriff’s officials said Julio Adrian Martinez was taken into custody earlier this week.
He was picked up at the Paso Del Norte Port of Entry.
Martinez was wanted for kidnapping 15-year-old Janelle Calderon, of Vinton, back in September.
As KFOX reported an Amber Alert was issued for Calderon but she turned up on the Paso Del Norte Bridge the next day.
Martinez was charged with transporting a minor with intent to have sex.
He is currently being held at the El Paso County Detention facility without bond.
