EL PASO, Texas —
Two separate accidents within a quarter mile caused a huge traffic delay on the westbound lanes of Loop 375.
The accidents happened on the highway just east of the Spur 601, Tuesday.
The slick roads caused a woman to hydroplane and get rear ended by a truck and end up stuck in the wire dividers.
The woman driving the SUV wasn't hurt, and the car only suffered minor damage.
Just up the Loop 375 a three car pile-up also slowed drivers on the freeway.
No one needed any medical attention in that accident either.
The accidents caused a huge back-up in the freeway for about an hour.
Police want to remind people to drive with caution as the roads become wet with the rain.
