In the next two weeks, Georgia plays both SEC-member schools from Tennessee, UT and Vanderbilt. So as the teams and their fans prepare for the annual border war, we want to expand the fight to beyond the football field. We're asking our readers to settle which state has the edge. Let's start with the football programs of the states' flagship universities.

EL PASO, Texas —

Police on Monday identified the driver of a red Yamaha motorcycle who was killed when he was struck by a Mercury SUV that was leaving Bassett Place.

Thomas Adam Wade, 22, died at the scene. A 62-year-old woman from northeast El Paso who police said was driving the SUV was taken to hospital for treatment.

Several shoppers witnessed the accident.

Police said the SUV pulled out of the parking lot and was turning right onto Gateway West, when the motorcycle came west on Gateway West.

"That's when it happened when he glanced to say, 'Hey what are you doing, watch it,' the lady, the elder lady hit the motorcycle," said Maria Gomez, who was shopping at Bassett.

The impact shot the motorcycle out several feet.

"As a result of that, the motorcycle and the sole occupant of the motorcycle has died," said police spokesman Darrel Petry.
Gateway West and Geronimo was closed off for several hours.

A man who identified himself as Joshua Ray said he was Wade's brother. He said Wade was in the military.

Police have not released information on her injuries or her current condition.

The investigation continues.
