One man stabbed outside downtown bar

One man is in the hospital after being stabbed outside a club parking lot, police said.

The stabbing occurred at Club Alive in downtown El Paso around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

KFOX14 news cameras were the first news team on the scene and were able to get exclusive video of the stabbing victim as he was wheeled to the ambulance.

The victim appeared to be in some pain, but was responding to paramedics.

The male victim was stabbed in the chest and the wound isn't life-threatening, police said.

He was taken to University Medical Center.

Several witnesses saw the attacker take off in a car, however they weren't able to get a clear description of the car.

Several people were seen outside the parking lot talking to police but none wanted to talk to media.
