EL PASO, Texas —

There was good news for party-goers after police announced they're cracking down on drunken driving this holiday.

A local cab company has offered to give free rides after El Paso police officers said they'll be conducting mandatory blood draw for those suspected of drunken driving.

Sun City Cab Co. will provide free transportation on Wednesday at 10 p.m. through Thursday at 4 a.m., at the same times police will be looking for drunken drivers.

In 2010, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office reported nine deadly accidents, six of those were alcohol-related for El Paso County, said deputies. Nearly 70 deadly accidents were reported for the city of El Paso, according to El Paso police.

You can reach Sun City Cab at 915-544-2211 to schedule a ride.

Suspected drunken drivers who refuse to provide a breath sample will be forced to have their blood drawn.
