EL PASO, TEXAS —
Family members of a construction worker killed on the job told KFOX14 they're outraged that no one is being held accountable, saying that they want charges filed.
Janet Anguiano said her brother had a lively spirit and was always the life of the party, but his life was cut short early Thursday morning.
Thirty-three-year old Jose Anguiano died in a three vehicle collision while he was working on construction on Interstate-10 West near the Artcraft exit.
"He was always so happy," Janet Anguiano said.
Police said alcohol was not a factor.
Janet and her family said they don't think it's fair their brother lost his life while the 19-year-old driver responsible for the accident is a free man.
They're hoping the El Paso police department makes an arrest soon, though there's no indication of any charges being filed at this point.
"They just let him go with no charges, nothing," Janet Anguiano said. "There was a death. How could they just let him go?"
