El Paso home security system installations skyrocket

EL PASO, Texas —
Although El Paso may be ranked as one of the safest cities in the country, the number of homeowners installing home security systems in El Paso is up by 60 percent according to Prewire Security.
The local security and surveillance company attributes the spike partly to violence in Juarez, but also to local break-ins and robberies.
