EL PASO, Texas —

Police said two children inside a home in far east El Paso are safe after a SWAT situation ends peacefully.

The incident started around 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Shreya Street. Police received a domestic disturbance call from the home. They said Fredrick Pulley made threatening gestures with a handgun toward Robin Pulley after an argument.

The man refused to talk to police when they arrived, and he barricaded himself inside the home with his kids, police said.
The Crisis Management Team and SWAT were called to the home.

After a few hours, negotiation efforts resulted in the peaceful arrest of Frederick Pulley, police said.

Pulley, 33, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was booked into the El Paso County Jail with bail set at $20,000.
