A laundry list of sexual harassment allegations, and character praise, was heard in day two of the court-martial hearing for a top-ranking Fort Bliss commander. KFOX 14 sat in military court all day and has continuing coverage of what officers who served with, and under, Col. Michael Robertson had to say about the commander's actions overseas. The government's case rested Tuesday. During the morning and afternoon sessions they brought forth 10 witnesses. The defense brought 10 also Tuesday. All of them having served under Robertson in 2010 in Afghanistan. And that laundry list included: showing nude pictures of women on his government-issued computer. All of them say they felt uncomfortable viewing the material. That the colonel touched female soldiers inappropriately. Also that the colonel named called his sergeant major by calling him the b-word. He's also accused of telling "sexual jokes" daily. Overall, the government wanted to show that the colonel was a sex-driven man who made his staff feel uncomfortable to effectively do their jobs. The defense, on the other hand, painted a picture of the colonel who is a caring, fun lovely commander. That he improved the 31st Combat Hospital's team with his years of experience. The defense also pointed out with a number of witnesses that Robertson with all these jokes and touchy-feely actions were an attempt to boost morale.
