Child falls through second-floor window

By Lauren Rozyla

EL PASO, Texas —

A child is injured after she falls through a second story window at a Central El Paso apartment complex.

An El Paso police officer, working for the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso, responded to the incident along with Fire Medical Personnel.

Upon arrival, the officer discovered that the 7-year-old child was playing near the window and toppled through the window screen and out the window.

The child complained of pain to her back. Emergency crews took her to University Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.

The preliminary investigation does not suggest any signs of foul play.
