Las Cruces Trying To Get Utility Bills Out On Time

LAS CRUCES, N.M. —

The city of Las Cruces is still working hard to get utility bills out to customers on time.

After the city switched billing systems for gas, water, wastewater and solid waste water, customer complain they've gotten their bills late.

The city said customers will not have to pay late fees if they received their bill late.

City officials said the new system offers more efficiency and should keep rates down for customers.
