Las Cruces Bank Robbed

Las Cruces police are now looking for a man who robbed the First Savings Bank.

According to police, a man entered the bank located at 2804 North Telshor around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday and stated that he had an explosive device in a box before demanding money.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing dark clothing and an orange baseball cap. The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad determined the box was not an explosive device.

The case is being investigated by the FBI.
