KFOX Covers President Obama's Fort Bliss Visit

EL PASO, Texas —

KFOX will have complete coverage of the entire visit of President Barack Obama to Fort Bliss on Tuesday, including on KFOX-TV, KFOX digital channel 14.2, KFOXTV.com, and our Twitter and Facebook pages.

KFOX's coverage begins on the KFOX Morning News on Tuesday from 5 a.m. - 8 a.m. Obama is expected to arrive around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Fort Bliss and thank Fort Bliss soldiers for their service in Iraq before returning to Washington D.C. for an Oval Office speech that night on the end of the combat mission in Iraq.

KFOX will cover the arrival of Air Force One and will cut into programming for the president's speech to troops.

At 5 p.m., KFOX will run a special documentary on the 507th Maintenance Company. A convoy from the 507th was ambushed on its way to Baghdad in 2003. A number of soldiers were killed and taken as prisoners of war during that ambush, including troops from El Paso.

At 5:30 p.m., KFOX will have a special edition of KFOX News leading up to the president's Oval Office speech at 6 p.m. KFOX will complete it's coverage on Tuesday night with KFOX News At Nine.
