Jurors End First Day Of Deliberation In Rodman Trial

August 30, 2006 —

Jurors ended their first day of deliberations without reaching a verdict in the murder trial of Samantha Rodman.

After hearing closing arguments in the sentencing phase, jurors deliberated for about four hours, before breaking for the day.

As KFOX reported, the El Paso teen pleaded guilty last week to her mother's stabbing death.

Jurors will decide whether the murder was a crime of passion or pre-meditated.

Rodman's sentence could range from probation to life in prison.
