Investigators Say Explosion Possible Accident Preliminary Investigation Point To Accident In Explosion January 27, 2006 —
Fire Investigators say preliminary investigations show that a massive explosion in South Central El Paso Thursday may have just been an accident.
The Excel Apparel Group is the jeans manufacturing company that runs the building where the explosion happened. KFOX spoke with owners. They say they're working with the fire department to determine an exact cause.
El Paso fire investigators say when it comes to permits and code standards, Excel has been compliant.
The Fire Department says they're being thorough to determine the exact cause and to make sure something like this doesn't happen again.
