Group assaulted outside of east El Paso pool hall

El Paso police arrested James, Guiberteau III, 20, Robert Arias Sr., 23, and Sinai Marquez, 22, who they said assaulted and robbed two men and two women in East El Paso.

The incident happened outside of the Pocket Billiards at Pellicano and Zaragoza when a group of people were walking to their cars in a parking lot around 3 a.m.

Men who police said were armed with club-like weapons approached the group and demanded money and items from their cars.

El Paso police spokesman Darrel Petry said they believe that the victims were targeted by the three suspects.

Nobody was hurt, said police. The victims’ items were recovered when the suspects were stopped in a small blue pickup truck on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Northeast El Paso, said Petry.
