EL PASO, Texas —
It happened around 11 p.m. Friday on the 2200 block of Missouri in Las Cruces.
Police said 23-year-old Luis Carrasco hit the girl and dragged her underneath the car for almost hundred feet before coming to a stop.
Police said the victim was Carrasco’s girlfriend.
Carrasco has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and criminal sexual penetration of a minor in connection with his alleged relationship with the underage girl.
The girl was airlifted to Thomason Hospital with multiple injuries and is now in stable condition.
