A large gas leak forces hundreds of students to leave their classrooms.
Students and staff of Dr. Nixon Elementary School were escorted out of their classrooms just before 10 a.m. Tuesday after a contractor hit a gas line inside one of the classrooms.
Everyone was able to make it out safe and the problem was repaired in less than one hour.
