EL PASO, Texas —

A man who is wanted out of Austin, Texas, was found in El Paso after a police pursuit.

El Paso police investigators said that James Everhart lied to them about his identity, giving them a false name.

But when they determined he lied, they said they learned that he was wanted on a parole violation.

A couple of days later, police found out that Everhart was at an apartment in the 8800 block of Lawson Street in northeast El Paso.

They said he fled from them but was caught.

He was charged with possession of marijuana, evading arrest or detention, failure to identify, burglary of
building, theft over $50.00, and a parole violation warrant.

Everhart was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
