Former El Paso Priest Accused Of Molestation

EL PASO, Texas —
A former priest who once served an El Paso parish has been accused of child molestation.
Our media partners at the El Paso Times have reported that a 49-year-old man filed a lawsuit against the El Paso Diocese accusing Rev. Alfonso Madrid of molestation.
The accusations date back to the 1970s, when Madrid's accuser served as an altar boy at Sacred Heart Church, where Madrid was assigned.
