Fire Officials Respond To 15 Wind-Related Calls

EL PASO, Texas —

High winds in the El Paso area kept firefighters busy as they had to respond to 15 wind-related calls.

Officials said they responded to several calls including a wall falling onto a car on the 4600 block of Alabama Avenue in Northeast El Paso.

Fire officials also responded to a shed blowing into power lines, and responded to structure damage in northeast El Paso.

Officials said they also responded to seven wire down calls, three electrical poles down and one tree down call.

Sheriff's officials also said high winds knocked an electrical pole down on Gato Road.
