RINCON, NEW MEXICO —

Dona Ana County Sheriff’s investigators are assisting the Dona Ana County Fire Marshal’s office in an apparent case of arson that destroyed a million-dollar north of Las Cruces.

Fire and emergency crews were called to the 300 block of Tahnee Mara Road in Rincon on Nov. 6 2012 just before 5 p.m.

When they arrived, the home and three vehicles parked in the garage were engulfed in flames.

Both the home and the vehicles were a total loss.

Damages were estimated at more than $2 millon.

An initial investigation proved the house fire was a result of arson, but no suspects have been identified.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Dona Ana County Fire Marshal’s office at 575-525-8806.
