One popular getaway for area residents will be off-limits this holiday weekend.
Lincoln National Forest is closed to the public because of the extreme fire danger.
That means no camping, picnics or hiking on forest land.
The Gila National Forest is open, with stage one fire restrictions.
That means you can have campfires or smoke only in certain designated areas.
Guadalupe National Park is fully open to the public this weekend.
