Fire breaks out at business in east El Paso

El Paso, TEXAS —

El Paso fire crews were called out to a fire at the Pollo Feliz restaurant in east El Paso at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday.

Flames were visible from KFOX14's TXDOT cameras soon after the call went out.

El Paso Fire, through its Twitter account, told KFOX 14 the fire was contained within 15 minutes.

According to scanner traffic, a motor inside an exhaust vent may have been where the fire started.

El Paso fire's Twitter account called the incident a grease fire in duct work.

Everyone in the building escaped and no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
