EL PASO, Texas —

It has been alleged that an east El Paso woman was assaulted with a deadly weapon by a Department of Homeland Security agent during a road rage incident.

According to police records, the aggravated assault with a deadly weapon being alleged happened on Dec. 17 at around 7:30 a.m.

"The vehicle in front of me didn't yield quickly enough to the far-right lane. So, I yield, and I was, of course, in front of the vehicle, and I guess he didn't like it," said the victim, Patricia, who did not want to release her full name.

Both vehicles were heading north on Joe Battle Boulevard and were making a right on Edgemere Boulevard.

"It made him more mad that I flipped him off. Like I said, it was road rage from both our parts," Patricia said.

The young mother said she was on her way to drop her daughter off at school.

"When we both get to the red light, to my surprise, we both turned," Patricia said. "He had his left hand on the steering wheel (and his) weapon on the right hand, pointing it at me over his son."

Department of Homeland Security officials said it could not confirm the agent's name because no charges have been filed, and there are many agencies under the department.

The police report obtained by KFOX14 News has the suspect's name crossed off, but his place of employment is still visible.

The report also indicates the suspect carried a Glock .40-caliber handgun.

KFOX14 has requested all documents pertaining to the allegation and is awaiting for their arrival.
