EPISD asks community to help shape profile for new superintendent

5 community meetings to be held at district high schools.

El PASO, Texas —

El Paso Independent School District will hold community meetings starting Monday night to ask members of the public what qualities the next superintendent of the troubled district should possess. 

The company responsible for the superintendent search is PROACT. 

The profile should be completed by mid-November and eventually, a new superintendent hired by mid-March.

Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 

Burges High School, Gymnasium - 6 p.m.

Chapin High School, Theatre - 6 p.m.


Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 

Franklin High School, Theatre - 6 p.m.

Jefferson High School, Silva Health Magnet's Auditorium - 6 p.m.


Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 

Bowie High School, Cafeteria - 6 p.m.

Irvin High School, Cafeteria - 6 p.m.


Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 

Andress High School, Cafeteria - 6 p.m.

El Paso High School, Cafeteria - 6 p.m.


Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 

Coronado High School, Fine Arts Auditorium - 6 p.m.

Austin High School, Small Gym - 6 p.m.
