Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Training

El Paso Community College received a $518,199 grant from The Texas Workforce Commission to offer Free training to 98 local individuals in new environmental construction jobs.

EPCC will train qualified individuals for occupations in green energy construction fields. The "Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy" Grant training will focus on: · Basics of Green Design · Energy Efficiency and Management · Fundamentals of Building Science · Green Building · Installation of Solar Hot Water Systems · Sustainable Energy Technologies · Language and Vocabulary Applications in Green Industries

Students interested in enrolling in this program may qualify for free training.
