EL PASO, Texas —
Hundreds of people flooded the Convention Center in downtown El Paso hoping to turn their trash into treasure.
While some people might find out their stuff is worth a small fortune others weren't so lucky.
"She has a Tiffany lamp that she bought some time ago for $4,000. That's a lot of money $4,000, it's fake, It's worth about 300 to 500," Executive Producer Marcia Bemko said.
The highest valued appraisal for the day was a signed first edition of J.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit," which was estimated to be worth $80,000-$100,000.
El Paso will be featured in the show's sixteenth season that starts this fall.
