El Paso Shoppers Line Up Early For Black Friday

EL PASO, Texas —

Retailers across the country spent Thanksgiving slashing prices on merchandise for their Day After Thanksgiving sales.

El Paso and Juarez residents began lining up very early, some as early as 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, to be the first to get the limited supply of sale items.

Laptop computers and flat-screen TVs are some of the most sought after items and will be discounted the most.

The happy campout was interrupted at one local Best Buy store on Thursday afternoon.

Police responded to an argument between people in line. It stemmed from people being unhappy that others were saving places for people who had left.

Police made no arrests in the incident.

Most retailers will open their doors early Friday morning, but some are opening as early as midnight.
