Man shot at El Paso northeast park

Suspects sought in shooting

EL PASO, Texas —

A man involved in an argument with two other men was shot at a northeast El Paso park.

Around 9:02 p.m. Tuesday, police received reports of a shooting at a park on Lawson and Maxwell.

When they arrived, they said that a 23-year-old man was shot in the leg by two other men after an argument among the three.

Police said the suspects left before they arrived.

The victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gun shot wound, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information on the identities of the men are asked to contact them at 915-832-4400 or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477.
